First time I've touched a marking instrument since April. For anything but signing documents, that is. It was barely sprinkling rain - which actually felt pretty good - so nobody minded. We've been wet - with sweat - all summer anyway. At least this was a cool sprinkle.
Cool or not, it'll still wreak havok on paper, so I just sat in the cab to do my thing while these guys - I swear they barely moved the whole time I was drawing - continued drowning worms (that's all that happened while I was watching ;-)
That sorta odd construction mid-left is what was originally a boat house, then an "enclosed fishing structure," and now it's a boat house again. Neat looking anyway, and although I've photographed it before, never drew from it 'til today.
Oh. White Rock Lake is where we were here. A little east of downtown Dallas.
With a Bic in my little 3.5"x5" sketch pad.
